Deity: Yes or No?
Many people on the pagan paths embrace different deities, work with them in the craft, or simply pray to them. There are a number of people that will tell you that you do not need to believe in deity to practice magick or witchcraft. This is a fact and of course everyone has their own beliefs, but it seems to be two distinct sides of the pagan coin. Whatever your path, really examining how you view deity can help better define your journey and your experience as a spiritual person.

Personally I don't do deities but I have friends that do so very much to each their own.
ReplyDeleteIf it doesn't work for your path then so be it. Find what works most for you. Your path will always reflect who you are.
ReplyDeleteI'm more of an Eclectic. When doing work I will go with a deity that works best for what I'm working on doing. I'm also a believer that each deity is just a breakdown of the one Mother and Father.
