Many people are divided when it comes to the paranormal. Some believe, some do not, and others thinks it's at least plausible. With so many shows and movies giving various views and information on the subject, the skeptics are growing more skeptical, while the believers are getting stronger in their belief. Personally, and I do not speak for everyone at REALM, but I am on the side of the believers. I tend to love shows, such as Ghost Adventures and A Haunting. I also found that movies like Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Entity, hit home in a way.
I, myself, have had paranormal experiences on which I base my belief. Also, talking to others who have had experiences as well, I feel a sort of connection

While I have had personal experiences with ghosts and other supernatural entities, and I very much believe ghosts do exist, I am not a fan of the plethora of ghost and supernatural shows. For the most part, I find such shows contrived and unlikely to cover any real ghost activity. From what I have seen the only exception to this is, of all things, Celebrity Ghost Stories. I've watched several episodes where one or two of the celebrities described experiences which I found believable to the point of giving me goosebumps, but even in those cases most of the stories struck me as being made up by the celebrity just to get on the show. I completely understand how the existence of ghost-hunting shows makes most skeptics think the possibility of supernatural beings is even less likely. After all, it can be a hell of a money-making racket, and money-making rackets only attract those who already want to believe.
ReplyDeleteI am a strong believer that ghosts are real based purely on what I have seen and felt personaly. since a very young age I have had a ghost/spirit / guide whatever you wish to call him following me around. just a few days ago my three year old asked me about my ghost and described him to a t she has never heard me talk about him but it seems that he's now watching not only me but my children as well.
